Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.3-5 years of field installation experience in the security industry. Certifications in Software House and Genetec are advantageous. Experience with American Dynamics, Bosch, or other CCTV products is a plus. Familiarity with door hardware installation, including strikes and magnetic locks. Experience in audio-visual technology. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong work ethic and collaborative spirit with a proactive attitude towards service delivery. Ability to work independently under pressure; must be a quick learner.

The Security Technician II plays a pivotal role in overseeing the installation and management of access control and IP camera systems at client locations. This position requires an individual who is not only technically skilled in installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic devices and network components but also possesses strong communication abilities to engage effectively with both clients and the Field Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, capable of making informed decisions that benefit the project and customer satisfaction. Collaboration with subcontractors and clients is essential. A valid driver's license is required, as is the ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and service access control and IP camera systems following engineered designs.
- Demonstrate programming proficiency related to UTI products.
- Commission and terminate a variety of access control systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues that could hinder productivity.
- Complete all necessary documentation related to job assignments.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Timely communication of job activities to the Project Manager or Field Supervisor.
- Ensure company vehicle is kept in good condition and clean.
- Maintain a safe driving record and report all incidents immediately.
- Participate in mandatory product and safety training.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within Indiana.
