The Senior Account Manager will be charged with selling environmental analytical services to current and prospective clients while identifying and securing business opportunities to achieve revenue goals. By following the sales process, the successful candidate will generate revenue for SGS environmental laboratories.

A Day in the Life of a Senior Account Manager at SGS

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for selling environmental analytical services to existing and prospective clients and securing business opportunities to meet revenue targets. This role entails managing a portfolio of clients and fostering long-term relationships. The Senior Account Manager will act as a liaison among customers, the Client Services team, and lab operations to fulfill customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business leads through ongoing engagement with the Environmental community.
  • Proactively seek and intelligently target prospective customers to evaluate potential leads.
  • Build a network of industry contacts while continuously assessing market conditions.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with qualified leads to understand client needs and identify potential opportunities for our complete range of services.
  • Evaluate client needs against SGS's capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with prospects to formulate a compelling value proposition and demonstrate how SGS services can support them in reaching their objectives.
  • Influence and promote the expansion of business opportunities through strategic initiatives.
