Role overview
The Senior Accountant / Accounting Technician leads all internal accounting functions. This position is designed for someone who works independently, takes initiative, and acts as a financial resource within the organization. The scope covers a wide range of accounting duties, along with the chance to shape and improve processes.
Main responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Develop and enhance monthly accounting routines
- Prepare financial reports such as cash flow statements and profitability analyses for each entity
- Administer payroll and keep precise records
- Collaborate with an external CPA on year-end review engagements
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all financial information
Requirements
- DEC or BAC in Accounting
- Experience as a Senior Accounting Technician or Accountant
- Background with multiple entities is a strong asset
- Experience in the real estate sector is an advantage
- Highly autonomous, organized, and structured approach
- Resourceful and proactive, focused on finding solutions
- Comfortable balancing daily operations with process improvement
