Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. A minimum of five years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Capability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing general ledger accounting, assisting with financial reporting, supporting audit processes, and enhancing accounting procedures. This position will work closely with the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills and a proactive, solution-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger and perform reconciliations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Analyze accounting data and generate insightful reports.
  • Assist the Controller during audits and budgeting cycles.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and company financial policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective best practices.
  • Collaborate with AP/AR teams to enhance workflow and accuracy.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
