The Role of AI at Duffel
The travel sector poses unique challenges for AI, as a single journey can encompass multiple airlines, hotels, payments, policies, and time zones. When issues arise, travelers require immediate solutions. We are developing a chat-based AI assistant to help users manage their trips booked through Duffel, allowing them to change flights, comprehend fare rules, recover from disruptions, and access receipts without lengthy calls or waits.
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in building the foundational platform that supports these interactions, creating systems for orchestration, retrieval, memory, and evaluation that empower our agents to make reliable decisions based on real bookings, money, and policies.
