Position Overview:

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional lifecycle services to regulated and high-risk markets. Our partnerships with life sciences and other regulated sectors focus on improving operational efficiency and achieving success. You will work with Emerson DeltaV and other control platforms to facilitate automation projects and support production operations in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain automation systems utilizing Emerson DeltaV and other DCS/PLC/SCADA platforms.
Oversee the entire automation lifecycle, including system design, configuration, testing, commissioning, and ongoing support.
Produce comprehensive automation documentation such as functional design specifications, testing protocols, and configuration records.
Engage in system testing activities including FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ.
Assist manufacturing operations by diagnosing and resolving automation system issues.
Collaborate closely with operations, validation, and engineering teams to ensure the compliant delivery of systems.
Provide on-call support for critical automation systems as needed.
Mentor junior engineers and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the automation domain.

This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to take charge of essential data processes that are vital for portfolio management, reporting, regulatory compliance, and investment governance.The selected candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, quantitative analysts, and traders to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of all investment data utilized in daily portfolio management, client reporting, SAA processes, risk monitoring, and board/ManCo submissions.Key Responsibilities:Lead initiatives to enhance data quality for critical datasets such as portfolio holdings, performance metrics, risk assessments, and product management information.Contribute to the development and maintenance of the business glossary, critical data element definitions, and data cataloging processes.Validate key portfolio datasets including holdings, transactions, cash balances, performance, exposures, risk metrics, and benchmark information.Investigate data discrepancies, reconcile inconsistencies, and facilitate timely resolutions with Operations, Administrators, and service providers.Oversee the integrity of datasets utilized in SAA reviews, PM/quant analytics, risk monitoring, and investment reporting.Maintain comprehensive documentation on data sources, quality standards, validation procedures, and exception management protocols.Support the creation and validation of client reports, board reporting packages, ManCo submissions, and internal investment dashboards.Ensure the accuracy of data used in investment commentaries, risk summaries, and performance reporting.Collaborate with PMs and quants to provide validated data for ad-hoc analytics, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives.
