Qualifications
Responsibilities:Design and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks with a primary focus on RESTful APIs. Develop and execute end-to-end test suites using Cypress, ensuring optimal user experiences across our web applications. Design, script, and execute load and stress tests to identify bottlenecks and guarantee system reliability during peak traffic. Identify and prioritize complex test cases for automation, balancing both functional and non-functional requirements. Collaborate closely with Developers and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and address defects early in the software development lifecycle. Assess and implement new tools or methodologies aimed at optimizing our testing stack and minimizing manual effort. Requirements:At least 5 years of experience in Software Automation, with a proven record of testing complex distributed systems. Profound understanding of API testing (REST/GraphQL), including familiarity with tools such as Postman, RestAssured, and a solid grasp of HTTP protocols. Hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Cypress for both end-to-end and component testing. Practical experience with load testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter) to validate system scalability. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (essential) or other modern programming languages like Java. Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI to facilitate automated quality gates. Demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a robust understanding of QA best practices. Excellent analytical abilities and the capacity to convey technical quality risks effectively in English.
