Qualifications
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend services and APIs utilizing Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript. Architect scalable and efficient microservices. Optimize database architectures and queries (both SQL & NoSQL). Implement secure authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT, RBAC). Integrate and develop third-party APIs. Ensure high availability, performance, and fault tolerance. Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Collaborate with CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated testing and deployment. Monitor performance and resolve system failures. Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams. Continuously assess and integrate new backend technologies. Requirements: 3-5 years of backend development experience with Node.js. Proficiency in at least one backend framework (such as Express.js or Nest.js). Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis). Knowledge of authentication and security best practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption). Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins). Basic experience in developing scalable backend systems. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, Product). Open to remote candidates, with a preference for those based in Saudi Arabia.
