The Opportunity
We're in search of a Senior Product Engineer to strengthen our vital backend teams, including Intelligent Edge, Revenue Engineering, or Platform. In this role, you will develop a wide range of solutions, from high-scale data pipelines and edge processing to sophisticated usage-based billing systems that drive our business.
This role demands both product insight and engineering expertise. You will find yourself at the nexus of large-scale infrastructure and mission-critical systems, managing billions of signals, querying vast data sets, and ensuring precision in metering systems where financial accuracy is paramount. We seek someone who values user experience and the economic impact of every technical decision.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable and resilient backend services in Go, encompassing core ingestion pipelines, edge processing, and usage-based billing systems.
- Tackle large-scale data engineering challenges, including efficient querying of terabytes of data in ClickHouse and maintaining data integrity in complex metering systems.
- Partner with product teams to assess the economic viability of technical designs, ensuring maximum customer value , you are a Product Engineer, not merely a coder.
- Architect and enhance backend systems to effectively manage billions of observability signals with minimal latency and high reliability.
- Establish coding and testing quality standards, mentoring team members and ensuring maintainability as we scale.
- Promote best practices for Go services and OpenTelemetry distributions throughout the engineering organization.
