About the job
About Dash0
Join Dash0 in reshaping the future of observability. We are an innovative, OpenTelemetry-native company dedicated to crafting an intuitive, AI-driven platform that eliminates vendor lock-in and unnecessary operational burdens. Help us create a product that developers adore, complete with transparent pricing and built-in cost control.
The Opportunity
We are on the lookout for a Senior Product Engineer to become part of our Agent0 team, which is at the forefront of developing our Agentic AI Platform for Observability. In this role, you will integrate AI with infrastructure engineering, bridging the divide between complex AI workflows and robust software engineering.
Your work will go beyond merely developing backend services. You will collaborate closely with AI engineers to enhance their models, ensuring they are efficient and reliable in a production environment. If you are passionate about building the core engine that empowers autonomous AI agents and transforms developer interaction with observability, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Design and enhance the backend infrastructure for Dash0's Agentic AI Platform, primarily utilizing Node.js and Go for critical performance components.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to refine agentic workflows, leveraging your software engineering expertise to ensure AI model reliability and performance in production.
- Develop and advance our security strategies for executing unknown and potentially unsafe code, maintaining system security, efficiency, and robustness.
- Take shared responsibility for platform stability, proactively identifying technical risks and ensuring top-tier monitoring and observability signals.
- Establish new patterns for agentic services, including the design of distributed systems, asynchronous debugging, and resilience in production environments.
- Mentor fellow engineers on backend best practices and contribute to the technical direction of the Agent0 product roadmap.
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in Node.js and proficiency in Go, with a polyglot approach driven by necessity.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous architectures, and production reliability.
- A genuine enthusiasm for AI and a willingness to experiment in a rapidly evolving field, you don’t need to be an ML engineer, but you should be excited about building the future.
