The Ad Cloud Serving Services Team at Appier is responsible for developing and maintaining vital systems that form the backbone of our advertising technology. Our systems manage extensive, high-concurrency, real-time requests, ensuring stability, low latency, and high performance in ad delivery. Our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experts play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability of these services under heavy loads, continuously improving product availability and performance through innovation and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend services focused on real-time ad recommendations, data serving, and core ad tech infrastructure.
Drive the technical roadmap and ownership for significant projects, ensuring the delivery of robust and efficient solutions within the Ad Cloud ecosystem.
Optimize essential system components for latency, throughput, and resource utilization, including interactions with databases (e.g., MongoDB sharding, ClickHouse optimizations) and network architecture.
Enhance system observability, incident management, and operational excellence by implementing comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus), and refining production standard operating procedures.
Collaborate closely with product managers and other stakeholders to align development efforts with business goals.
