Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical and environmental testing of prototype and certified batteries for eVTOL aircraft.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement test plans for flight-critical hardware.
- Execute acceptance testing on battery modules, packs, and charge port assemblies.
- Design sub-scale test rigs for mechanical and environmental testing, involving PCBA/hardware and software development.
- Develop and deploy custom test equipment and controllers.
- Create bespoke test equipment and automation software to facilitate cross-functional battery R&D testing.
- Perform mechanical design of test rigs using NX CAD software.
- Utilize LabVIEW, Python, and other test development tools for testing purposes.
- Analyze test data and collaborate with engineering teams to share insights.
- Develop automated test equipment as required.
- Innovate test procedures and oversee testing execution.
- Generate reports for FAA submission.
