Position Overview

As a Senior Benefits Account Manager, you will spearhead and coordinate all client-related activities to guarantee premier service and outstanding client satisfaction. Acting as a strategic partner, you will oversee the delivery of services, manage key performance metrics, and shape renewal and retention strategies. You will also play a vital role in mentoring and developing members of the account management team to achieve high performance and excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining regular communication and conducting onsite visits to evaluate satisfaction and present deliverables.
  • Lead and manage open enrollment initiatives, including presentations, health fair coordination, and vendor collaboration.
  • Implement best practice service models to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery in line with contractual obligations.
  • Identify growth opportunities through renewals, expanded scopes, and additional service offerings in benefits and total rewards programs.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to devise communication, educational, and strategic initiatives that align with client objectives.
  • Facilitate negotiation strategies with carriers and vendors in partnership with internal teams.
  • Prepare and present professional client-facing materials, such as stewardship reports, communication pieces, RFP responses, renewal presentations, and proposals.
