Minimum of 10 years of experience in brand leadership roles, ideally within the B2B sector or with globally recognized brands. Proven expertise in brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and brand architecture for complex portfolios. Experience in building and evolving brands within a matrixed organization is essential. Prior experience in the EMEA markets and operating at a global scale is preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex strategies to executive stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required; advanced degree or specialized certifications are a plus.

As the Senior Brand Manager for EMEA, you will be a visionary marketing leader tasked with the development and implementation of brand strategies that resonate with diverse audiences and customer interactions across the Nielsen spectrum. Reporting to the Director of Global Brand Strategy, your role is crucial in spearheading significant brand initiatives throughout European markets, ensuring our brand maintains its esteemed reputation as the trusted authority in the media and content measurement sector.

  • Act as a key ambassador for Nielsen's brand initiatives, narratives, and relevance in pivotal campaigns across the EMEA region. Design, oversee, and implement a comprehensive brand calendar for Nielsen in European territories.

  • Develop a customer-focused strategy to navigate complex global business environments and industry opportunities, ensuring brand initiatives align with overarching business goals.

  • Facilitate integrated marketing efforts that foster collaboration and alignment among internal teams and external stakeholders both in the EMEA region and globally.


Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Management: Lead the development and execution of brand initiatives in EMEA. Utilize regional insights and research to continuously enhance brand positioning and messaging.

  • Integrated Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Creative, Digital, Retention Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Events, and Social teams to ensure brand consistency, local relevance, and excellence in execution.

  • Measurement & Impact: Establish success metrics for brand health and correlate brand performance with business outcomes.

  • Team Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams across EMEA and globally on key regional and local brand projects critical to Nielsen’s success.
