As a Senior Business Analyst supporting a Department of Defense client, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing and analyzing data to deliver high-quality mission and decision-making support concerning budgetary, financial, and civilian pay matters. Your efforts will continually enhance the quality, efficiency, and focus of the client's financial services and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert support for the DoD client's operation of the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), including assistance with individual modules, program management, and training for the DAI system.
- Conduct fit-gap analyses and address operational issues, evaluating business processes using DAI, and assessing the impact of Software Change Requests (SCRs), production fixes, and new DAI versions.
- Provide systems support for new financial systems, ensuring seamless integration with databases and programs developed in SharePoint and MS Access as required.
- Augment help desk support to DAI Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) during testing and operation phases of DAI and related financial systems.
- Ensure the team is equipped to train DAI users effectively, empowering them to independently access and operate DAI for their job functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience with DAI or Oracle systems.
- Extensive knowledge of the Oracle E-Business Suite and the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) system.
- Experience with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is highly preferred.
- Possession of one or more of the following certifications: Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
