As a Senior Business Development Representative at Collibra, you will play an essential role in revolutionizing our sales development process into a quality-focused, AI-enhanced revenue generation engine.
This position demands a dual approach: you will actively generate pipelines through strategic outreach to new enterprise prospects and existing clients, while also driving quick conversions of significant inbound demand. Collaborating closely with Account Executives and Marketing, you will leverage advanced tools to perform targeted research, create persuasive messaging, and deliver a high-quality, well-qualified pipeline.
Responsibilities of a Senior Business Development Representative at Collibra:
- Outbound Pipeline Generation: Identify target accounts and initiate strategic outreach, employing a proactive hunting mindset and leveraging AI-driven tools for enhanced prospect intelligence and operational efficiency.
- Demand Conversion Management: Prioritize follow-ups with all new Market Qualified Leads (MQLs), ensuring prompt responses and flawless execution of internal service level agreements (SLAs).
- Strategic Collaboration and Account Penetration: Work alongside Account Executives for account planning and proactive outreach to drive specialized penetration, including identifying opportunities for growth within existing customer accounts.
- Lead Discovery and Qualification: Conduct valuable discovery calls with senior decision-makers to understand their business needs, adhering to a disciplined qualification methodology for rigorous opportunity assessment based on customer fit, pain points, and articulated business value.
- Efficiency Enhancement through AI: Utilize AI tools to streamline your workflows, including prospect research, personalized messaging, and minimizing administrative tasks.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with various teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Alliances, to boost brand awareness and market penetration.
