With a legacy of over 80 years, they support hospitals, retail pharmacies, day surgeries, medical centers, community patients (direct-to-home), and aged care facilities. Furthermore, the company offers 4PL solutions, allowing suppliers to outsource their supply chain management services.
As part of their ongoing expansion of the Philippine-based team, we are on the lookout for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining eCommerce web applications and API integrations across the company’s technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards, perform data modeling, enhance visuals, and optimize performance.
- Employ DAX for crafting efficient measures and calculated columns to support business logic and KPIs.
- Manage reports governance and access control.
- Conduct advanced SQL querying, including joins, window functions, and troubleshooting across extensive datasets.
- Develop and maintain data models within Snowflake, encompassing schemas, tables, and views to facilitate reporting and analytics.
- Build and oversee data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), managing data ingestion from various sources, scheduling, monitoring, and addressing pipeline failures.
- Design and maintain data pipelines and ELT workflows as integral components of end-to-end data engineering solutions.
Position Highlights:
- Business Intelligence Development: Design, create, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI, providing timely insights for informed business decisions.
- Data Modeling & DAX: Build strong tabular data models utilizing Power BI and Snowflake sources, leveraging advanced DAX expressions to implement KPIs, time intelligence, and business rules.
- Data Platform Management: Align reporting requirements with existing data pipelines, create new Snowflake data models, and adhere to data governance standards.
- Reporting Governance & Documentation: Ensure reporting assets comply with version control, documentation, and publishing standards. Maintain report catalogs, business glossaries, and technical documentation for handover and audit purposes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business users, analysts, and leadership teams to gather reporting requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver user-friendly BI solutions.
- Data Security & Access Control: Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace roles, and dataset permissions to secure compliant access to business reports and dashboards.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of advancements in Power BI, Snowflake, DAX, and related BI technologies.
