The ideal candidate will independently perform complex diagnostic Cardiovascular MRI exams while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to the department's educational and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Clinical Practice (Subject Matter Expertise)

  • Independent Execution: Carry out intricate diagnostic Cardiovascular MRI exams, including advanced protocols for challenging cases, myocardial viability assessments, and congenital heart disease.
  • Image Quality & Optimization: Troubleshoot technical issues, ensure image quality, and adjust imaging parameters to maintain diagnostic integrity.
  • Patient Management: Provide safe and attentive care for critically ill patients during MRI procedures.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote and adhere to MRI safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Leadership, Mentorship, and Education

  • Mentorship: Act as a clinical mentor and resource for junior technologists and students, guiding them in advanced imaging techniques.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Lead quality assurance initiatives to improve CMRI procedures and protocols.
  • Research & Development: Engage in clinical research projects to advance department knowledge and practices.
