Key Responsibilities:• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to enhance the business and maintain our esteemed reputation.• Assist the senior team in daily kitchen operations.• Take charge of various kitchen sections as required.• Report directly to both the Head Chef and Sous Chef.• Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards.• Contribute ideas for menu development.• Participate in food preparation and service on a daily basis.• Communicate effectively with senior staff regarding orders and kitchen requirements. Candidate Profile:• Proven experience in a fresh food kitchen is a must.• Strong Demi Chef De Partie candidates will also be considered.• Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.• Creative flair and a genuine passion for food.• Previous experience in a similar establishment preferred.• Excellent time management skills are essential.• Ability to follow instructions and uphold our high kitchen standards.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Chef De Partie to join the dynamic team at our newly refurbished country pub in Newbury.
Our establishment boasts 10 beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms and features a 100-cover restaurant, with plans for expansion to accommodate 150 guests in the near future.
As part of our recent renovations, we are equipping the kitchen with state-of-the-art tools, making this an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team that specializes in modern European cuisine.
The role involves working an average of 45 hours per week over 5 days, with a competitive salary of up to £25,000 per annum, complemented by an attractive tips package. Additionally, we offer fantastic shared accommodation for just £95 per week, inclusive of all bills.
