We are on the lookout for a motivated aerospace engineer to fill the role of Senior Composite Stress Engineering Specialist within our Montreal Structures team. You will collaborate with dynamic, cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise to ensure our aircraft meet certification standards.
In this key position, you will conduct and review composite structural analyses of both primary and secondary aircraft structures utilizing Finite Element Method (FEM) and hand calculations. Your responsibilities will also include compiling stress reports to facilitate certification, supporting manufacturing and assembly processes, and working collaboratively within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to aid in product development.
This fast-paced role may also involve developing test plans and requirements, creating material datasets, conducting trade studies for product development, and supporting structural test execution and data analysis. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, guiding them in their professional growth.
