Join our Innovative Team as a Senior Construction Engineer
Are you eager to tackle some of Denmark's most intricate and challenging construction projects? We are currently seeking a Senior Construction Engineer with over 8 years of experience to join our construction department in Ørestad.
About Your New Department
You will become part of a multidisciplinary team comprising over 30 skilled construction engineers, building constructors, and project managers, including six certified structural engineers, located at Ramboll’s headquarters in Ørestad. Our department engages in a variety of projects, handling both our own assignments and those from other divisions within Ramboll Building, focusing on new construction, transformations, and renovations.
We do not restrict ourselves to residential, industrial, cultural, or sports projects, and we often contribute to endeavors with particularly complex structures where conventional solutions fall short. Currently, we are involved in exciting projects like the wooden church in Ørestad, the transformation of Buddinge City Gate, Europe’s largest wooden logistics center, Bestsellers Logistics Center West, the expansion of Copenhagen Airport’s footbridge over Ellehammervej, and the new metro station at Nordhavn on Levantkaj. This variety ensures a dynamic work life, offering ample opportunities to challenge yourself professionally across different building types.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Designing load-bearing structures in concrete, steel, and wood
- Providing expert consultation to your colleagues while helping to develop the skills of our younger team members
- Driving the professional development initiatives at Ramboll to enhance the quality of our services project by project
- Building and nurturing client relationships while managing bids of varying sizes to ensure a robust project pipeline
About You
- You possess at least 8 years of experience in detailed design of load-bearing structures in Denmark.
- You take pride in your professional development.
- You value interdisciplinary collaboration and can communicate effectively with all involved disciplines throughout a project’s lifecycle.
- You have the ability to tailor solutions according to client preferences while meticulously handling project details.
Your Path to Continuous Professional Development
