Contract Negotiation & Drafting: Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts related to capital equipment, utilities, and power generation services. Legal & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineering, projects, finance, and legal teams to establish commercial terms, payment milestones, warranties, SLAs, and risk allocation. Contract Management & Execution: Lead negotiations and manage the execution of various agreements, including MSAs, AIA agreements, and master procurement agreements, while also overseeing legal review cycles and preparing final contract packages. Process Improvement & Standardization: Develop and maintain negotiation playbooks to facilitate quicker turnaround times and identify opportunities for process enhancements.

About This Role:

The Senior Contracts Specialist (Oil/Gas, Power Generation, Data Center) will spearhead the procurement and contracting processes for Crusoe, focusing on large equipment, utilities, and power generation needs, alongside other essential procurement agreements supporting data center construction. This dynamic position demands adept prioritization and the capability to oversee multiple long-term contracts. You will lead commercial negotiations, draft and assess intricate contract terms (including AIA agreements, Master Service Agreements, and Master Capital Equipment Agreements), and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the Legal team to finalize agreements. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with contract lifecycle tools (such as Ironclad), have a robust commercial acumen, and be well-versed in procurement related to data centers, utilities, construction, or engineering services. This role provides extensive cross-functional exposure and the chance to refine procurement processes as Crusoe continues to grow.
