Role Overview

As the Senior Energy & Water Counsel, you will be pivotal in supporting Rowan's extensive portfolio of data center projects, exceeding 1.5GW. This role involves collaborating with Rowan's business units and leading utility and energy partners to energize crucial projects, meet sustainability goals, and facilitate innovative renewable energy and power acceleration initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess significant transactional expertise in utility service and interconnection agreements, along with other energy-related agreements for large-scale, energy-intensive ventures, including supply agreements, power purchase agreements, and tolling agreements. A thorough understanding of utility tariffs, policies, and regulatory frameworks is essential. Experience in supporting the development and operation of generation and storage facilities will be advantageous. Additionally, this role will encompass support for water-related infrastructure and supply agreements. To excel, candidates must be exceptional attorneys with strong commercial acumen.
