Position Overview:
The Senior Critical Facilities Technician (Sr. CFT) plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of data center operations related to both critical and non-critical infrastructure, equipment, and systems. This leadership position emphasizes safety, reliability, and operational excellence, setting high standards within the data center environment. The Sr. CFT will lead by example, drive continuous improvements, and provide daily hands-on training for junior technicians. Completion of Level I training is expected within 30 days of employment, with Level II training to be completed within 60 days. As a member of the Facilities team, the Sr. CFT will deliver technical expertise and program management in maintaining and operating site infrastructure and base building support systems. This role may also involve stepping into a supervisory capacity in the absence of the CFM and/or ACFM as required.
