Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement security frameworks for networks, systems, and applications.
- Continuously monitor security systems and respond to incidents and breaches.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
- Lead incident response initiatives and manage remediation efforts.
- Establish and enforce comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to weave security best practices into all operations.
- Evaluate and deploy advanced security tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and firewalls.
- Perform risk assessments and provide actionable mitigation recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Stay informed about emerging threats and advancements in technology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- In-depth knowledge of network security, encryption, identity management, and cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with various security tools and platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+.
