Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines utilizing Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Databricks, and Azure SQL). Architect and manage a centralized data warehouse that consolidates data from diverse fintech systems including transactions, payments, FX, and customer data sources. Implement and uphold ETL/ELT processes to guarantee reliable, clean, and well-modeled data across environments. Create and sustain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports delivering business, regulatory, and operational insights. Work closely with engineering, finance, and product teams to translate business needs into technical data solutions. Establish data quality checks, validation rules, and governance standards to uphold data integrity and compliance with regulations (GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.). Enhance the performance and cost-effectiveness of Azure-based data services, ensuring both scalability and reliability. Lead initiatives aimed at data automation, report optimization, and process improvements. Define and enforce data engineering best practices, including naming conventions and CI/CD for data pipelines. Act as the primary resource for all data-related inquiries, supporting analytics, KPIs, and operational decisions. Qualifications:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics, preferably within fintech, banking, or financial services. Proven hands-on expertise with Azure Data Stack, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL/Data Lake Storage. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and transformation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
