We are in search of an exceptional Senior Data Engineer to join our innovative Data team. In this pivotal role, you will design and construct robust systems and pipelines for consolidating both internal and third-party data. Your contributions will empower various teams across the organization to leverage data for insightful analysis, reporting, new product initiatives, experimentation, and machine learning. Key responsibilities include developing the foundational architecture for our data lake and data warehouse, creating essential data models and pipelines, and building collaborative tools to enhance the quality and reliability of our data assets.
As a Senior Data Engineer within the Data Platform team, you will be instrumental in shaping the core infrastructure, frameworks, and analytical data layers. You will play a vital role in defining our team's culture and expectations for exemplary data engineering while mentoring fellow team members to excel. We are eager to find a candidate who is passionate about the intersection of data and software development, capable of creating a scalable and maintainable data ecosystem that supports StubHub's rapid growth. You will focus on specific business domains, developing deep expertise and proactively identifying the needs within those areas.
