As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be integral to this journey. You will collaborate closely with both internal teams and customers to architect, develop, and implement data solutions that capture, analyze, transform, and leverage data for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Business Intelligence insights.
SunnyData is a rapidly growing startup expanding its footprint in Nepal. In just under two years since our inception in the United States, we have successfully established teams in the LATAM region, including Uruguay, Argentina, and Mexico. This presents an outstanding opportunity for motivated engineers to join the founding team in Nepal.
The Impact You Will Have
Contribute to a team that supports new and existing customers with their data engineering requirements.
Advise customers on optimal technical choices to meet their objectives.
Manage multiple customer accounts, tracking and reporting on their progress.
Design, construct, and operationalize complex data solutions, troubleshoot issues, apply transformations, and propose data cleansing and quality improvement strategies.
Evaluate data sources to assess their utility and recommend their inclusion in analytical processes.
Integrate essential data management practices encompassing data governance, security, and quality assurance.
Collaborate across teams to facilitate delivery and educate end users on data products and analytical environments.
Conduct data and system analysis, resolving defects and incidents of moderate complexity as needed.
Test data flow, transformation code, and data components.
What We Look For
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering and product development.
Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies:
Data pipeline orchestration frameworks, cloud computing platforms, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
