In response to our expanding operations, we are on the lookout for experienced Senior Consultants who specialize in Data Engineering solutions. You will take the lead in client engagements, collaboratively co-designing data engineering solutions with clients, managing stakeholders effectively, and ensuring that project delivery is impactful from strategy to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Architecture & Pipeline Design: Create robust and scalable data pipelines and architectures to facilitate the efficient ingestion, processing, and delivery of vast amounts of structured and unstructured data.
Cloud & Distributed Systems: Conceptualize and implement data solutions using modern cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing frameworks (like Spark, Kafka).
Database Design & Data Modeling: Develop both logical and physical data models, optimizing database solutions for various data types and workloads, including relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph databases.
Data Integration & Loading Patterns: Adopt best practices for batch, streaming, and real-time data integration, adjusting to structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
CI/CD & DataOps Practices: Facilitate continuous integration and deployment of data services and infrastructure utilizing modern DevOps tools to ensure reliability, versioning, and automation in data workflows.
Within Sia, you will also:
Advance our Data Engineering offerings through internal training sessions, working groups, and both internal and external publications.
Represent Sia at professional events, contributing to thought leadership initiatives such as articles, white papers, and webinars.
Drive business development by crafting compelling proposals, identifying new collaboration opportunities, and nurturing long-term client relationships.
Manage client engagements, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to middle and senior-level management.
Mentor junior to mid-level consultants, guiding their professional development, reviewing deliverables, and fostering the growth of both technical and interpersonal skills.
