About the Role

We are in search of a skilled Senior Data Engineer to enhance our Financial Crime team. In this role, you will be integral in developing and maintaining robust data pipelines that facilitate fraud detection, entity resolution, and compliance analytics across Tyme's operations. Ideal candidates should be open to relocating to Vietnam.

Your responsibilities will include working with extensive and complex datasets using Databricks, integrating real-time and batch data from various systems, and contributing to the design of a data foundation that supports real-time risk detection and case management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct and refine data ingestion pipelines utilizing Python and PySpark to collect and transform data from diverse sources such as transactions, KYC, AML, authentication, devices, and logs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SQL, preferably PostGres.
  • Design and uphold data models that promote Financial Crime/Fraud detection, profiling, and entity resolution.
  • Implement data quality checks to ensure data integrity across different environments.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, Compliance, Operations, and Product/Feature teams to operationalize models and rules.
  • Utilize jobs, workflows, APIs, and streaming to manage large-scale data processing workloads.
  • Integrate with external systems (e.g., sanctions, ID&V, biometrics, and authentication systems) to enhance risk and identity data.
  • Support automation and monitoring of ETL processes to boost operational efficiency.
