Position Summary: We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Experimental Design and Test Engineer to spearhead the design, execution, and enhancement of next-generation signature reduction technologies tailored for extreme environments. This role primarily emphasizes Thermal Protection Systems (TPS), while also extending support to related domains such as stealth and shielding. Positioned at the crossroads of design, manufacturing, and R&D, this position is pivotal in transforming ambiguous performance challenges into successful ground and flight test campaigns.

You will collaborate closely with leadership, program management, and engineering teams, overseeing comprehensive test campaigns across aerospace and maritime systems. Your primary objective will be to guarantee that systems fulfill stringent performance criteria while remaining economically viable and scalable. This role is highly cross-functional and hands-on, necessitating expertise in GSE/tooling design, advanced instrumentation, live test operations, and direct interaction with both commercial and government stakeholders, including leading design reviews.

Success in this position requires strong first-principles thinking, practical engineering expertise, and the ability to swiftly transition from concept to validated outcomes.
