Join our team as a Senior Designer for one of Weekday's esteemed clients!

Minimum Experience Required: 2 years

This full-time position is based in Mumbai, where you will take the lead in crafting the visual and content identity across diverse platforms, from Instagram to product photography, as well as brand guidelines and campaign development. This is not merely an execution role; we are searching for a proactive individual who can engage in brand strategy discussions in the morning and produce creative briefs by the afternoon. You will work in close collaboration with the founders, acting as the creative powerhouse behind the company’s public perception and experience.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Developing and maintaining the brand's visual language, including color palettes, typography, tone, photography style, and reel aesthetics.
  • Partnering with the Marketing team to brainstorm and plan engaging content across Instagram, the website, and new channels, overseeing calendars, briefs, and final deliverables.
  • Leading and directing product, model, and lifestyle photo shoots, utilizing mood boards and being present on set.
  • Designing assets for all brand touchpoints, including social media graphics, email templates, packaging inserts, and offline marketing materials.
  • Interpreting performance metrics to identify successes and areas for improvement, focusing on both design and conversion rates.
  • Collaborating with operations and retail teams on seasonal campaigns and in-person activations.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in brand design, ideally within the fashion, lifestyle, or direct-to-consumer sectors.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing both visual creativity and conceptual thinking, going beyond simple execution.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or equivalent); familiarity with CapCut, After Effects, or similar tools for reels is an advantage.
  • A strong understanding of the activewear and wellness aesthetic, with an innovative mindset, essentially, a true tastemaker.
  • Ability to work independently without the support of a large team, often functioning as the sole designer.
  • A unique sensibility combined with strong practical execution skills, along with a willingness to get hands-on when necessary.

This Role May Not Suit You If:

  • You require a large team of 10 or more to accomplish your tasks.
  • Your interpretation of 'creative' involves simply mimicking what competitors have done.
  • You need extensive time to deliver projects, as our timelines are weeks long.
