This Senior DevOps Engineer position is remote and based in Bulgaria. The role is part of a collaborative group supporting the engineering organization, with a focus on infrastructure, tooling, and deployment systems that drive important projects. The work involves close partnership with application engineers to maintain and improve container-based systems, with an eye toward scalability and cost efficiency.
What you will do
- Collaborate with DevOps and application engineering teams to design and enhance standardized infrastructure, deployment workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Build, manage, and refine containerized infrastructure, prioritizing reliability, scalability, and cost control.
- Use deep knowledge of Kubernetes and related tools to set best practices and help teams adopt them.
- Oversee and improve AWS cloud infrastructure, covering compute, networking, and storage.
- Advance observability, monitoring, and incident response for production systems.
- Take part in a shared on-call rotation (about one week every five weeks) to address and resolve production incidents.
- Mentor teammates and share expertise to strengthen engineering practices and operational maturity.
