ResponsibilitiesThe Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for managing AWS cloud infrastructure for DVT clients and internal projects, emphasizing automation, scalability, and operational excellence. Infrastructure & Automation DutiesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar to facilitate automated testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning. Migrate and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or similar tools, including remote state management, modular refactoring, and multi-environment deployments. Develop and manage ephemeral feature environments for isolated testing and validation using Terraform workspaces or Terragrunt. Implement scheduled shutdowns to enhance cost management. Automate environment provisioning, routing (Route53, ALB/NLB), and teardown processes to support dynamic development workflows.

The Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) joins our cloud team in Cape Town. This role focuses on designing, maintaining, and automating cloud infrastructure. Supporting software development teams across a range of client projects is central to the work.

Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for client projects
Automate deployment pipelines and operational workflows
Support and collaborate with software development teams
