Your Impact

In your role as the Senior Director of Commercial Operations, Quoting, you will oversee and enhance Axon's domestic quoting function, managing the entire quote creation lifecycle. You will be an essential partner to Sales, Finance, Legal, and IT, ensuring pricing accuracy, rigorous processes, and an outstanding customer experience throughout every phase.

Your team will be tailored to meet the specific needs of Axon's sales end markets, providing thorough expertise on the unique demands of each customer segment. You will spearhead policy development, process design, and change management as Axon evolves its systems and technology within the commercial operations domain.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Vice President of Commercial Operations
Direct Reports: 20

Location: Onsite 4 days a week (Tuesday to Friday) at an Axon Hub - Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Sterling, Denver, Seattle, New York City, or Scottsdale

Strategic Objectives

Enhance the Sales Experience: Refine and simplify the interaction between Sales and quoting operations. Establish clear ownership models, defined engagement channels, and consistent transitions to enable efficient participation across functions in the deal cycle.
Become a Trusted Commercial Partner: Act as a primary operational ally to Sales, delivering high-quality, customer-facing quotations that facilitate timely deal execution. Collaborate with subject matter experts across various functions to expedite deal closure and enhance customer outcomes.
Boost Deal Accuracy and Speed: Collaborate closely with Pricing, IT, and go-to-market teams to ensure that business goals are met with precision. By organizing teams around specific end-market requirements, enhance both the accuracy and speed of delivered quotes.
