The Senior Director of Human Resources will spearhead Viant’s essential people operations, employee relations, and learning & development initiatives. As a key senior leader, you will be tasked with managing and nurturing HR and L&D teams while driving operational excellence and supporting the organization through periods of growth, change, and transformation. This role requires a blend of hands-on execution and large-scale strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop teams in Employee Relations, HR Operations, and Learning & Development, ensuring effective management of Benefits through established processes and partnerships.
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex employee relations issues, collaborating with Legal and executive leadership to ensure fair, consistent, and compliant resolutions.
- Oversee learning & development programs, including onboarding, manager development, leadership training, and career advancement initiatives in alignment with L&D leadership.
- Pursue HR operational excellence by scaling policies, processes, and systems to accommodate a growing multi-state organization.
- Play a pivotal role in M&A activities, including HR due diligence, integration planning, change management, and execution post-close.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, and enhancing leadership capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, particularly in a public-company and multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Leverage people data, operational metrics, and learning outcomes to inform decisions and enhance HR and L&D initiatives continuously.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and other People leaders to deliver a seamless employee experience.
