Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex circuit boards. Proficient in using testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, and current probes, with an emphasis on test automation. Familiar with standard interfaces including Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB. Knowledge of common microcontroller, CPU, and FPGA technologies. Expertise in modern analog and digital electronics, including electronic circuitry. Proficient in using various electronic CAD tools, with a preference for Altium; familiarity with Eagle and others is acceptable. Experience in designing for signal integrity and power integrity. Demonstrated ability in test data acquisition and analysis.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the complete lifecycle of PCB design, from requirements gathering through schematic design, component selection, layout management, as well as system integration, testing, and debugging.
  • Design and develop fuzing circuitry for advanced missile systems.
  • Work closely with vehicle development teams to create, document, and implement customized fuzing systems and effectors.
  • Create system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses connecting electronic equipment within vehicles.
  • Provide collaborative support within the constraints of other air vehicle subsystems.
  • Conduct vendor assessments and evaluations to source system components.
  • Facilitate peer-level and cross-disciplinary design reviews.
  • Assemble and test system components through lab, ground, and flight testing.
  • Engage in low-level firmware development for system bring-up and testing.
  • Perform root cause analysis to support field operations.
