Role Overview
The Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician joins the E-Space Manufacturing Solar Team in Arlington, TX. This team develops advanced aerospace products and supports the company's mission to expand global connectivity.
What You Will Do
- Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical components in thin film semiconductor equipment
- Assist with modification, installation, and rebuilding of critical vacuum equipment components, including valves, actuators, motors, pumps, sensors, and power supplies
- Use both power and hand tools for mechanical and electrical work
- Conduct electrical tests with volt-ohm-amp meters
- Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Work as part of a small, specialized team called on to disassemble, modify, and rebuild equipment when issues arise
Key Qualifications
- Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical skills
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical components
- Comfort using a range of power and hand tools
- Ability to perform electrical testing and interpret results
- Skilled at reading schematics and technical documents
- Experience working with vacuum equipment is a plus
