Your Mission
Join our Collections & Treasury squad, tasked with developing a new collections product that serves as the financial backbone for various segments of our business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing the infrastructure to dynamically create virtual IBANs
- Designing customer-friendly APIs that enable diverse payment collection strategies
- Addressing the real-world complexities of collections across the African continent, going beyond traditional credit card solutions, including STK.
This is not just another product team; we are laying the foundation that all other functions will build upon.
We are seeking a strong Senior/Lead Engineer, ideally with experience in financial systems, who can take charge of developing a scalable and resilient Collections & Treasury framework.
Your Responsibilities in this Role
- Lead key architectural and implementation decisions for the collections and treasury foundation
- Oversee design processes (RFCs, diagrams, API and system specifications) to ensure alignment on solutions before development
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical requirements
- Design and create both customer-facing and internal APIs to facilitate collections and payment strategies
- Ensure the reliability and scalability of our collections infrastructure as we grow.
