Key Responsibilities:Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on thermal and plasma ALD equipment. Collaborate with Process Engineers to diagnose and resolve hardware and process-related issues. Perform root cause analysis and develop effective solutions for equipment failures. Support the installation and qualification of new equipment and facility upgrades. Assist in managing spare parts and chemical inventory. Document completed work with comprehensive technical reports. Adhere to safety and clean room protocols.

Join ASM as a Senior Engineer I in Equipment Engineering and play a pivotal role in semiconductor innovation! In this hands-on, technology-rich position, you will work closely with our state-of-the-art thermal and plasma ALD systems, ensuring optimal performance of tools vital for next-generation chip manufacturing. You will engage in an expert R&D and engineering environment, tackling complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems; troubleshooting precision tools; and assisting engineers with high-impact hardware and process challenges. Your responsibilities will include investigating alarms, performing preventive maintenance, assisting in the installation of new equipment, and conducting root-cause analysis, all of which directly contribute to ASM’s reputation for outstanding reliability and performance.
