Join Shield AI as a Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer and play a pivotal role in transforming cutting-edge autonomy into operationally ready aircraft. Our Software Integration & Operations (SIO) team is at the forefront of developing a robust commit-to-flight pipeline, encompassing deterministic simulation at cluster scale, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and virtual-in-the-loop (VIL) integration, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), automated testing, and release engineering. Our mission is straightforward: to ensure artificial intelligence operates in the skies safely, reliably, and at speed.
In this position, you will focus on enhancing Shield AI’s next-generation aircraft program by advancing our infrastructure to facilitate a more efficient simulation testing pipeline. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and scaling the models and infrastructure necessary for utilizing Shield's simulation platform for software validation processes. This infrastructure will empower developers to expedite testing, allow systems engineers to assess performance at earlier stages, and enable release engineers to deploy with confidence.
