POSITION SUMMARY
ASM is on the lookout for a Senior Field Service Engineer to join our CVD/EPI/PEALD/Furnace business unit. You will be an integral part of a team providing on-site support and troubleshooting for our clients.
As a key driver of business success, you will enhance and enable operational effectiveness by developing and improving processes utilizing our toolsets at customer locations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure optimal tool uptime and lead the effective installation and support of hardware issues.
- Create, maintain, and enhance technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Understand and architect innovative global technology systems to foster stronger customer relationships.
- Facilitate efficient communication channels, such as telephone, email, and presentations, to ensure consistent customer follow-up.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for customer experience through the development of teams, hardware, software, and support tools.
- Manage and oversee new product installations and subsequent hardware developments.
- Project manage new evaluations to ensure project success.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- Business travel may be required as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating collaborative partnerships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
- A proven ability to thrive in a team environment under tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
