CGS Federal is looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior FOIA Analyst to enhance our team supporting the legal objectives of a major federal agency. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, drafting correspondence, and engaging in effective negotiations, among other vital responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, analyze, and manage incoming and backlogged FOIA requests.
- Organize and maintain FOIA request folders for efficient processing.
- Input request data accurately into the FOIA tracking system.
- Compose response letters and other essential FOIA documentation.
- Facilitate negotiations and communications with requesters, FOIA staff, and other stakeholders concerning the requested records.
- Act as a liaison with requesters and occasionally other agencies regarding multi-agency records.
- Coordinate document searches and identify duplicate records.
- Review program records for their relevance and determine release eligibility.
- Ensure that released materials comply with applicable exemptions.

Qualifications:
