- A paralegal certificate, Juris Doctor (JD), or current enrollment in an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study completed is required.- A minimum of one year of litigation paralegal experience is essential; trial experience is a significant advantage.- Proficiency with Nuix Investigate, Relativity, or other eDiscovery and document review tools is highly preferred.- Proven experience in processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.- In-depth understanding of FOIA rules and regulations, including applicable exemptions.- Solid legal knowledge, including familiarity with standard legal citations for checking legal motions and memoranda, and experience with legal research tools like LEXIS and Westlaw.- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with practical knowledge of various computer applications, including word processing and databases.

- Conduct thorough searches and analyze result sets to distinguish between non-responsive and responsive documents, while screening for privilege or FOIA exemptions.
- Skillfully redact and code responsive documents.
- Carry out comprehensive legal research.
- Draft various legal documents with precision.
