Position: Senior FPGA Design Engineer (Modem Design)
Contract Type: Long Term Contractor
Work Location: On-site in San Diego (Integration Onsite/Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 6-9+ Months (Potential for Long Term)
Citizenship Requirement: U. S. Citizenship Required
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and verification of FPGA and modem systems.
- Develop radio hardware solutions and perform integration and testing in a laboratory environment.
- Implement modulation and demodulation techniques.
- Design digital filters, FFT implementations, and digital phase-locked loops.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in FPGA and modem design.
- Proven experience in radio design and verification.
- Proficient in VHDL and C programming.
- Familiarity with Xilinx Kintex Ultrascale architecture.
- Strong background in Software Defined Radio systems.
- Active government clearance is preferred; candidates with inactive clearances may be considered.
- Recent clearance (within the last 5 years) is desirable; willingness to reactivate clearance is a plus.
