Join our team as a Senior Frontend Developer at SGS, where you will be integral in creating innovative, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. You will collaborate closely with the UX/UI Technical Leader to establish and refine our frontend architecture, guaranteeing an exceptional user experience across our suite of products.
Your role will involve working hand-in-hand with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to convert business needs into clean and efficient frontend solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend applications.
- Take ownership of the frontend architecture, enhancing maintainability and scalability.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences.
- Translate product and design specifications into clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Advocate for best practices in frontend engineering, including Clean Code principles, testing strategies, and component design.
- Develop and maintain design systems and reusable component libraries.
- Optimize application performance, including load times, rendering efficiency, and responsiveness.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and a responsive design across various devices.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and/or GraphQL services.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and enhance frontend delivery processes.
- Provide support and mentorship to other developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to technical documentation to ensure a shared understanding within the team.
