The Invoicing team at Lightspeed is a vital part of our Financial Services division. Our mission is to create and implement innovative solutions that enhance sales and pre-sales workflows while managing customer accounts receivable operations effectively. We empower businesses with streamlined financial processes, ensuring our customers receive a dependable service.
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will take charge of developing and maintaining key features for our essential financial products. Your contributions will significantly impact our codebase, whether it’s introducing new features or fixing existing bugs. You will leverage your technical expertise to aid the team in achieving its goals, enhance our processes and tools, and engage actively in production operations, which includes participating in on-call rotations.

Your Responsibilities:
Foster strategic collaboration during development planning, retrospectives, and demos;
Architect and lead the design for new, large-scale features, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and maintainable;
Translate high-level requirements into clearly defined development tasks and work items;
Manage stakeholder expectations, priorities, release statuses, and project timelines;
Lead effort estimation for sprints and product roadmap deliverables;
Promote continuous improvements in our software delivery processes and practices;
Mentor and coach team members, identifying opportunities for growth and career advancement;
Play an active role in shaping the future engineering workforce through participation in recruitment;
Provide technical guidance and process insights;
Uphold coding standards and best practices by conducting thorough code reviews in a collaborative environment;
Continuously enhance our existing tools and products to maintain a competitive edge.
