About the Role
We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer proficient in ReactJS, Java, and GraphQL to become a pivotal part of our rapidly advancing remote team. In this role, you will spearhead the development of innovative software applications and systems tailored to our clients' needs. Your responsibilities will encompass technical leadership in the design, integration, implementation, and transition of our enterprise SaaS human services system, employing a flexible architectural approach to facilitate configurability in data creation, integrations, workflows, notifications, and data persistence. You'll also synthesize integration requirements and develop strategic recommendations based on business objectives, the product roadmap, solution architecture, and technical considerations. The perfect candidate is someone who is enthusiastic about crafting scalable, robust, and user-friendly applications while thriving in a dynamic, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, integration, implementation, and transition of enterprise SaaS human services systems.
- Adopt a flexible architectural approach to ensure configurability across data creation, integrations, workflows, notifications, and data persistence.
- Analyze integration requirements and formulate recommendations aligned with business objectives, the product roadmap, and technical considerations.
- Contribute to the development of platform functionality utilizing cutting-edge frameworks and tools.
- Specify and troubleshoot API integrations within a multi-system ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, partners, product managers, creative designers, platform architects, and fellow software engineers.
- Pursue continuous learning and application of emerging technologies.
- Implement systems that serve the needs of vulnerable populations.
- Uphold the highest standards of security, extensibility, reusability, and testing in system architecture, software interfaces, and algorithms.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices.
- Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers.
- Mentor junior engineers, cultivating a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in React and TypeScript within production environments.
- Proficient in Java for developing multi-tier web applications.
- Proven history of building scalable applications and systems.
- Familiarity with GraphQL is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor and lead teams.
