At least 5 years of experience as a . NET full-stack developer or similar role. Expertise in C#, . NET, Microservices/Distributed systems, MSSQL, Entity Framework/Core, Azure or similar technologies, HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Git for source control. Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and industry best practices. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges.

Our flagship inReach device, integral to our Outdoor department, connects users to the Iridium satellite network, ensuring they stay connected no matter where their adventures take them, be it at sea or scaling the heights of the Himalayas. The inReach SOS button is a lifeline, saving seven lives daily.

The Garmin Outdoor range also includes wearables such as the Fenix series, wildlife monitoring devices, trapshooting gear that combines camera and radar, and dog training collars.

As a member of our team, you will:

  • Design, enhance, and develop software solutions for web applications and services that are essential to Garmin's Subscriptions ecosystem.
  • As a full-stack developer, engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle: technical design, implementation, estimations, documentation, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across Garmin to gather and define requirements for new features and enhancements, and to craft effective technical solutions.
  • Work with a versatile tech stack: . NET, . NET Core, React.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and various Azure services.
  • Apply best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment through CI/CD pipelines using Team City and Octopus.
  • Ensure that developed services and systems are performant, secure, reliable, and scalable.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance skills and development practices.
  • Join a passionate team of developers committed to delivering optimal solutions and experiences for our customers.
