QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in functional safety design within the automotive or industrial sectors. Proficiency in hardware-level safety requirement design and implementation. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and hardware design engineers to enforce safety standards. Familiarity with functional safety analysis methodologies such as FTA and FMEDA to support hardware architecture design. Demonstrated ability to develop safety requirements, technical safety concepts, and perform PMHF analysis. Experience supporting reliability assessments and deriving FIT rates for hardware components. Skilled in developing verification and validation methods for hardware safety testing. Strong documentation skills for safety requirements, analyses, architecture implementations, and validation events.
